this is a nice website for sharing the same interest about snakes.i googled thru net to get some information about our indian snake but most of them r dedicated for king cobra and russells viper.last week i rescued one snake from my house .i can recognise only cobra so at first i was reluctant to handle it but after gathering some courage i saved the snake.before release him i took some photos of it for future reference n if anybody could recognise it .l love snakes and see them in their narural habitant.it would be great help for me to give all information about indian venomous n nonvenomus snake
.thanks

I m student of a renowed engineering college in chennai. My college is located outside the city and we have a very vast campus. As the Campus is having lot of trees and its near fields. So, its quite obvious to have snakes inside the campus. Everyday the security guards are finding at least 3 snakes. As soon as they found they are killing it. I feel very bad about it. I cant say for them. Coz they need to protect the students. But i feel that we are disturbing the snakes. Coz they are living in their places we are occupying their place. So, i want to know the possible way to handover the snakes found in my campus. The issue is getting worse because of hot summer season. The number of snakes getting killed per day is increasing. Almost we human beings destroyed many species. If the situation continues likes this only human being alone will be left in this world. I just want to know the possible way to handover the snakes. Please let me know.
